The business is currently delivering a landmark 30-hectare mixed-use development and is seeking to strengthen its development team by recruiting a Development Manager. Reporting directly to the Project Director, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the region’s most significant urban renewal projects while working within a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  
The Role:

This position will suit a driven and commercially minded Development Manager with experience across the planning, design, and delivery of medium to large-scale residential apartment developments and associated infrastructure projects.
  
Working closely with the Project Director, you will be involved in the end-to-end delivery of a major mixed-use residential apartment project, managing a broad range of development responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle. You will coordinate consultants and stakeholders, manage planning and design outcomes, oversee project delivery, and contribute to the successful execution of sales and marketing strategies.
  
A key aspect of the role will be the management of development feasibilities and financial reporting, ensuring project objectives are achieved while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement. You will also play an important role in community consultation, helping to deliver positive outcomes for both the project and the surrounding community.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Property, Planning, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related discipline;
• Experience across the planning, design, and delivery of medium to large-scale residential apartment developments;
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including feasibility management and project reporting;
• Experience managing consultants, contractors, and key stakeholder relationships;
• Understanding of planning pathways, approvals processes, and development delivery;
• Exposure to community consultation and stakeholder engagement activities;
• Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies within residential development projects;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities;
• A passion for sustainability, innovation, and delivering high-quality residential communities.
