Working alongside an experienced Property and Leasing team, you'll play a pivotal role in managing lease administration, coordinating legal documentation and ensuring the smooth operation of the leasing process. The Opportunity
 
As the Retail Property Administrator, you'll become the central point for lease administration, working closely with internal stakeholders, tenants, agents and external solicitors to ensure leases are prepared, executed and maintained accurately and efficiently.
 
You'll also use your analytical skills to review lease information, assist with reporting and ensure contractual obligations are met across the portfolio.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate lease documentation from instruction through to execution
  • Liaise with external solicitors to ensure timely delivery of lease documentation
  • Manage lease renewals, extensions, variations and terminations
  • Track lease documentation and maintain accurate property records
  • Ensure deposits, bank guarantees and insurance documentation are received
  • Review and approve legal invoices
  • Respond to lease enquiries from tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with lease obligations and internal processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems and administrative processes
About You
 
You'll be organised, commercially minded and thrive in a busy environment where attention to detail is essential.
 
Ideally, you'll bring:
  • Previous experience in retail or commercial lease administration, property management, paralegal or agency support
  • A sound understanding of Australian retail leasing principles
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience using property management systems (MRI experience highly regarded)
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Confidence communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A proactive attitude and genuine interest in building a long-term career in property
